Bahman Mossavar-Rahmani

Bahman Mossavar-Rahmani co-founded UAS Asset Management in 1987 in New York with his late brother Shahin. He currently serves as president, chief investment officer and senior portfolio manager.

Bahman has 42 years of experience in the investment industry and has been profiled in Barron’s. Previously he co-founded Connecticut Securities in Hartford. UAS’s investment strategies are informed by Bahman’s diverse experience base including banking, journalism, farming, distribution, and technology.

Bahman came to the U.S. from Iran and attended Ossining High School in New York state. He is a graduate of Harvard College and the Harvard Business School. Bahman was a core member of nationally ranked Harvard soccer teams in the 1970s and was awarded the Louis G. Williams Memorial Trophy for “exceptional athletic skill, sportsmanship and devotion to the team.” He is a member of the board of ClassAct HR’73, a non-profit organization innovating in Harvard College alumni relations. Bahman is a long-time supporter of human rights causes and an avid art collector.
